Math
We will be starting Topic 16, Analyzing, Comparing, and Composing Shapes. We will be focusing on the question: How can shapes be named, described, compared, and composed? Our new math words are same size same shape, roll, stack, and slide.
Reading/ELA
This week we will be reading the stories "Max Takes The Train" and "Mayday! Mayday!"We will be talking about ways to travel and emergency transportation. We will focus on the "j", "w" and "x" sound. Some vocabulary words to talk about are: "plane, jetway, subway, tunnel, sidecar, ferryboat, rescue, pilot, yacht, sailor, mechanic, and shimmering. Some words to read are: yellow, blue, green, here, go, from, wet, wag, job, jam, jet, will, one, three, five, box, mix, wax, six, fix, and for.
